2000 Phase I Clinical Trial:
A Phase I clinical trial was carried out in Europe in 1999-2000 under cGCP to assess the clinical safety of MTR105. The trial was carried out at different i.v. doses in healthy male volunteers.
The Phase I clinical trial study concluded that relevant doses of MTR105 can be administered resulting in excellent tolerance in normal healthy volunteers.
Furthermore, an increase and stabilization of blood pressure in these volunteers was observed. It was therefore established that MTR105 represents a potential alternative approach to the treatment of hypotension and hypotension-related disorders.
